The Avant Première Screenings are an initiative by the IMZ in collaboration with MIDEM, where the world’s leading producers of fine programmes on culture and arts present their latest productions. It is a market for:

• programme purchasers in search of high-quality audiovisual programmes on culture, the performing arts, music and dance,

• for producers with an interesting project for which they need co-production partners,

• for programme suppliers/distributors who want to present their latest audiovisual programmes on culture, the performing arts, music or dance to the programme purchasers of international television stations,

• for film festival programmers looking for an opportunity to get a comprehensive overview of the latest trends in dance and music films,

• for editors or journalists who want to keep abreast of the trends in the fields of culture, the performing arts, music or dance.

 
In addition, the IMZ organises a symposium on market related musical topics during Avant Première and it is also the occasion, to hold the annual IMZ General Assembly. Not only does the environment of MIDEM enable you to meet people who work in the music industry from all over the world – it also lets you enjoy the pleasures of making business at the French Riviera.
